Sunburns. Parts of my back are apparently blistering, but I still have some shred of hope that this will go away soon. If I could run around the office shirtless, I would. Actually, as I am the only member of my department that appears to be here today, I could probably get away with it. The only people who would see me would be the security guards, who probably have neither the interest nor the authority to compel me to put my shirt back on. Still, I like our new director, and that would be a rather awkward meeting to discuss the company dress code.
The sunburns are from my weekend bicycle camping trip around Dayton. It's interesting how small the world becomes when you aren't in a car; it was like being in another state, and yet, I would keep seeing names that rung a bell from my college days. There are so many places nearby that I have never seen, and spending three days roaming the parks and trails of my nearby communities reminded me of that.
I haven't shaved any time off my daily trip the work, but I suppose I'm still tired from hauling that trailer around. The kids didn't have as much fun as we did, but they came back perfectly fine. Adelia also has a new appreciation for Strawberry Shortcake, after going without her favorite show for a weekend :)
There is tons to tell, but it will have to wait.
